What is the "Subscribers" list?

At the top of any Tracker task, you should notice the "Subscribers" list.  It looks something like this:

In the above example, you can see that Luke Johnson, Paul Brand and Peter Hollmer are subscribed to this task.

What does it mean to be a subscriber?

If you are "subscribed" to a task, this means that you will receive emails that are automatically sent out by Tracker each time this task is updated.  So, in the above example, if Luke Johnson posts a new message, Paul Brand and Peter Hollmer would then receive an automated email from Tracker that alerts them to Luke's new message.

How do I subscribe someone else to a task?

If you want someone other than yourself to be subscribed to a task, you can ...

  1. Contact them and ask them to login to Tracker and subscribe themselves.
  2. Or contact CNS and ask CNS to subscribe that person for you.
